A power kite or traction kite is a large kite designed to provide significant pull.  There are several different control systems used with these kites which have two to four lines and a bar or handles.

Basic introduction to power kites teaching you control of a four line traction kite. The aim is to get you confident and profficient enough to try some basic buggy and mountain board skills and able to control steady turns and crosswind runs by the end of the session. Safety is paramount and you’ll spend your time under the watchful eye of a recognised independent PKSF instructor.   Warm clothing and sturdy footwear is recommended and all necessary equipment is provided. Our main teaching sites are located on the Leas near South Shields and the large beaches at Whitburn near Sunderland, We may be able to travel to you if you were to looking to book for 6 or more.
